*This bed does not require a ""bunkie board"". This bed has a complete slat roll that does not require a bunkie board. Just place a standard twin mattress and the bed is ready to use. Please remember that because this is an elevated loft bed, the mattress cannot exceed 7 inches in height or the guardrails will not be effective. Also, elevated loft beds are recommended for children 6 years and older.
We also carry many accessories to accessorize your bed. You can add different color curtains for the bottom as well as a 6-hook coat peg, hanging bookshelves and a bedside tray.
